I love poppy flowers…there are so simple but yet so beautiful…I grew up in a small town, surrounded by beautiful hills, endless wheat and corn fields..that was our playground..it was magic, especially in the summer, when the poppy flowers were fully bloomed…it looked something like this

I cherish those memories, and I try as much as possible not to forget my roots..sometimes is hard, life happens whatever we like it or not, and certainly does not wait on us..

..I decided to bring poppy flowers back into my house, and into my life..and with the help of my beautiful and talented friend Jesse, who painted them off an imagine I found on the internet one day, I got this..

You might wonder how this little nightstand looked before? Well, let’s just say I almost did not want to touch it..it was stinky, dirty and probably saw better days..I painted in my now all time favorite Benjamin Moore paint…I totally love this paint, they have such an amazing palette..I promise you, this will not be last time I will be talking about it..Let’s just say, I have more projects that are ready to get their magic Benjamin Moore touch..
