This week I made a run over to Goodwill, and it was very good to me. I have been there in over two
months for various reasons..Ok, I admit, I was slacking, and lazy, but since my garage is full of
projects to be started, I was slowing down on buying new stuff, and focusing more on finishing some
of the furniture that I already have….Also, I haven’t been so lucky at scoring anything there, especially furniture..
and sometimes they have their furniture ridiculously overpriced..
..but my luck changed..I was running an errand and decided to stop by the store on my way back…
and boy, I am so glad I did, because I scored this beauty for $14.99…yes, I know, I was literally rubbing
my eyes, I just couldn’t belive the price!..and I didn’t move until the gave me the receipt just to
make sure it was mine..

The middle drawer needs repair, and I need to strip off the leather from the top, but other than that..
It is a beauty..
I also love the hardware, and I might decide to keep it on, who knows..
I do have a super cool idea for the top, that I think you are going to love it!
Now, I just need to findtime to work on it..
Gotta love Goodwill!

What a deal! I dont normally have great luck at our Goodwills either. I just dont think we get a lot of furniture. My restore is a lot better but it's usually overpriced and very far away.
Ooh, that's cute desk (well good bones at least!) for a great price. I'm sure it will look gorgeous when you're done with it! We don't have many good thrift stores around our area, but we're moving, so I'm hoping to find some good ones shortly!

Hi Amy! That is my favorite Goodwill score by far.. I am thinking of a dark grey or blue, not sure yet, because I have big plans for the top, and I do not want to go to crazy.

Sometimes it is so disappointing and frustrating not being able to find anything at thrift stores..most of the times the only furniture I see is MDF and expensive..I havent gone to restore yet, nor salvation army..I need to try them one day..
