Not long ago, I was complaining to a friend, that I do not score anything at Goodwill….and by nothing, I mean furniture..I always leave with a vase, not sure where my vase obsessions comes from, but anyway..Until one day, when a random trip to Goodwill, landed me this chair..
..it was in a very bad shape, the seat covered in numerous layers of disgusting fabric and in a desperate need of some glue..but despite all that, it was beautiful..and I soon as I spotted it, i grabbed it…and it sure grabbed the attention of a couple of older ladies, who almost wanted to take it off my hands…Really, they were desperate to look at it, and especially look for a stamp of some kind, that it showed how old this chair is..but, it was mine!
And then, the search for the perfect fabric started..and then I remember..I totally loved this Herringbone desk from Twice lovely

and then I knew….chevron is perfect…and red paint..this powerful combination will give it’s lost shine back…and some confidence
I really like how it turned out…It was also the first time when I attempt to upholster something..Not to bad, right?
